Frequently asked questions
Quick answers about the ConvertKit Lite PDF editor.
Is my PDF uploaded to a server?
No. Editing happens entirely in your browser, so your file stays on your device.
Can I change the existing text in a PDF?
No. This editor adds new text and drawings on top of a page. It cannot rewrite text that is already in the PDF.
How do I move, edit or delete text I added?
Click the text to type. Drag the blue handle above it to move it, and use the red × to remove it.
Which characters and fonts are supported?
Added text uses Helvetica with Latin characters. Other characters, such as Arabic or Chinese, are replaced with a question mark when you download.
Why are edits misplaced on some pages?
Pages that are rotated inside the PDF can place text and drawings in the wrong spot. Check the downloaded file if your PDF has rotated pages.
