There is no limit on our side. Very large or very many files may be slow or run out of memory on some devices.
If a PDF has damaged internal data and can't be merged normally, the tool redraws its pages and rebuilds the document instead. The result still merges, but pages become images, so text may no longer be selectable and the file can be larger.
Many encrypted PDFs will not merge correctly. Remove the password in your PDF viewer first, then try again.
