What Does the Age Calculator Show?

After you enter your date of birth, the calculator gives you:

How to Find Your Age on Any Date

The "Calculate age until" box lets you pick any date after your birth date. This is useful when you need to know:

• How old you will be on a future date, such as a deadline or an event.
• How old someone was on a past date, such as when a document was signed.
• How old a child will be on the first day of school.

How Are Leap Years Handled?

The calculator uses real calendar dates, so leap years and months of different lengths are taken into account. You don't need to adjust anything yourself.

Do I Need My Birth Time?

No, the birth time is optional. If you leave it empty, you get your age in years, months and days. Add it if you also want hours and minutes. Results use your device's local date and time, so if you were born in another time zone, the hours and minutes may differ slightly.

Is My Date of Birth Private?

Yes. The calculation runs entirely in your browser, so your date of birth is not uploaded to a server.

Common Mistakes to Avoid

• Swapping day and month. The fields are in day, month, year order.
• Using a two-digit year. Enter all four digits, such as 1998.
• Choosing an end date before your birth date. The end date must come after it.
• Entering a date in the future. A date of birth can't be later than today.
